BIAB & Gel Polish
The main difference between the two options is that Biab lasts longer than Gel Polish! Biab is usually applied to the natural nail with a layer 2-3mm thick, while gel polish is applied to the nails as a thin layer. As a result, Biab lasts longer and is also more durable than Gel Polish.
90% of my clients are Biab. Most clients prefer the longer durability and strength compared to what a regular Gel Polish manicure can achieve. Some also prefer full coverage tips or hard gel. All nails are different and so are nail systems. 'Not one glove fits all'!
E-Filing
E-filing does not damage your natural nails. FACT. Done correctly it gives precision effortlessly, longer lasting nails and saves times on de bulking the nail system. I am a qualified technician of over 20 years and without this in my life, I would not be able to continue with nails as my wrists would have truly been out of action.
As qualified nail technicians we have invested time and money into courses, so don't think by buying one for yourself off of Amazon you can do this service yourself. You will in fact damage your natural nails.
Aftercare
We do an array of different nail shapes, colours and structures remember every nail is different and anything goes... be your own you!
Our main goal will always be to sustain a durable foundation that works for you as the clients whilst keeping your nails at optimum health.
By following these steps with the correct foundation you can last 3-4 weeks between each appointment.
- Use cuticle oil or butter daily.
- Never pick off or peel the nail product.
- Wear gloves when cleaning or using harsh chemicals.
- For the first 24 hours avoid extreme heat (sunbeds, saunas or hot baths.)
- Look regular maintenance.
